  3. whoah..this is a great forum..im a sales rep and most of the time we are pissed of as well by both customers and customer care dept, sprint retailers..

customer care transfer the calls to us if they’re going to add a line or to upgrade the phone..(that’s what we do in sales)
but the customer care dept. transfers
BILLING CONCERS,REBATE CONCERNS, RETURNS,TRACKING ORDERS IN WHICH SALES CANNOT RESOLVE..tha’s why i do understand why customers are not satisfied or get a run around everytime they call..

with the customer i encountered a very nice customer who demands me to send her a free phone WITH A FREE LINE OF SERVICE!!!

  5. Last year I bought a Sprint rant, was $100 and I was supposed to get a $50 rebate. Never got it, on any of the 3 phones I got at that time. Within 3 weeks, the phone started malfunctioning. I wrote their corporate office and told them all about it. After 4 years I’ve learned that when it comes to talking to the reps over the phone, might as well talk to a rock, its not much different. So I get a courtesy call from the regarding my letter, gist of the conversation is that they are sorry but can’t do anything. So being disgusted I go back to an old phone and things are going great, until this phone being a few years old starts to show it’s age and malfunction. So I’m forced to go back to the rant. I try and deal with the broswer crashing, the camera that doesn’t always work, the random program crashes but finally I get back in touch with Sprint. I talk to a woman named Sophia she of course seems sympathetic, apologetic and in the end useless. But I agree to take the Rant down to a repair store have it looked at and they order me another reconditioned Rant. So I pick up the replacement, first thing I do is the firmware update, and then some software up dates and didn’t use it much that night. Very next day the IM software begins to miss messages and the browser crashes the phone. So I get in touch with Sophia and let her know, her solution is to take it back and get another Rant. Now honestly what are the chances of two different phones having the same problems if the whole model line isn’t defective. I’ve read many posts from others who bought Rants and are having the same problems. I’ve even filed a complaint on them with the BBB and had Tammy at Sprint contact me and they say the same exact thing. She even told me that I could use my insurance, pay the $50 deductible and get another used Rant. I’m like why the first one was defective when I got it as was the replacement. And the replacement was not even in as good of physical shape as the one I gave back and it was supposed to be reconditioned to factory specs. Sprint is such a horrible company. I think forcing Rant owners who just want a phone that works and does the same things to take replacements of the same model that are also defective is a terrible unethical thing to do, I am doing everything I can to spread my story far and wide so hopefully others will steer clear of Sprint.
