I subscribed to the mobile broadband service in March.  Shiny new Sierra Wireless (might as well be making plastic milk jugs with this quality) Overdrive was bought and paid for.  Few days later, I receive a used hotspot...scratches, dings and someone&#039;s name carved in the battery cover.  Called Sprint and &quot;she&quot; laughed.  Nicely offered to transfer me to someone who could help and, how appropriate, I was disconnected.  After 2 more calls got a commitment someone would call me and determine the method to replace my hotspot.  2...3...4...5 days passed to no avail.  By this time I realized the piece of crap did not even work.  Nearly every time I turned it on, I received Battery Critical, Shutting Down.  Needless to say after 6 months, 12 documented phone calls and 8 email I have yet to get a single response to my problem.  Out $360 for monthly &quot;service&quot; which I cannot use, stuck with the $200 early term fee I cannot imagine ever recommending Sprint or Sierra Wireless (who instructed me to pay to have the item shipped to them and pay for a diagnostic test).  The beauty at this point...I have filed a formal complaint with the state Attorney General&#039;s office and Sprint has failed to respond to their requests for information as well.  $200 early term fee is small price to pay to transfer to a real wireless carrier like Verizon...which has worked perfectly.  Live and Learn!</description>

		<description>So I canceled my Sprint account in March, after 10 years of being a customer. I wanted - and got -and iPhone and a sweet Verizon plan through my employer. 
I called to cancel and I was given to the &quot;account support staff&quot; who tried to talk me out of it. I told her how much I would be paying a month for unlimited calling/text/data and she said, &quot;Well, I would make that deal, too.&quot; My contact was to expire in November, but the customer service rep said I&#039;d been a loyal customer, was close to an early upgrade and that if I paid my bill in full for the billing cycle, we&#039;d be square. I asked for sure, I wouldn&#039;t owe anything past March 16? No, I can take your last payment over the phone.
Well, consider my surprise when I got a bill in the mail 5/24 - forwarded from an address I&#039;ve not used since 10/2008 - that I owed $80.11 for breaking my service contract and that the bill had been sent to a collection agency.
I&#039;ve never, not once, even missed a payment on any bill I&#039;ve ever had. 
I was livid. I called customer care (the bogus word in there is &quot;care&quot;). We went round and round. I said I would have provided a current billing address, had I been asked for a final payment. I was not.
Asked to talk to a supervisor, she said I could get on a 24-hour callback list. 
No fucking way, I said. I am much too busy to deal with that bullshit. Get me someone now. 
The dude was a complete idiot. He tried to explain to me what a contract was. He was rude. 
I got so livid, I just paid the bill. 
Now I&#039;m out flaming Sprint in as many places as I can.
Don&#039;t use Sprint. It&#039;s just that easy. Worst customer service I&#039;ve run into in a great many years.</description>

		<description>Omg they switched my plan to add a corporate discount and never told me! Why would I authorize a discount on my account if in the long run it was going to cost me hundreds of dollars.

I had the everything plan unlimited. Somehow got switched to the Simply everything plan.... ohhh so close in name right. However it only gave me 450 &quot;anytime minutes&quot;. Months go by and I dont realize any changes because I hardly make or receive calls. So this month I have an extradinary amount of calls and think nothing about it since I&#039;m suppose to be on an UNLIMITED plan. 

Suddenly my phone is turned off (Over my spending limit) So I call Srint and they confirm that IM over my limit. The Bill should be $99 along w all the ridiculous tax charges. However the bill is $382.00

I am switched from my dept to another only to be told that I authorized this change back in feb and theres nothing they can do except give $104  off. Of coarse I dont settle for this and refuse this assistance as I ewill just cancel my contract and go on my marrie way.

However I call back thinking I will try one more time. This time I ask to speak to retention of the back. They only offer to deduct $82 from the total amount due.

ARE YOU SERIOUS???

So this is the way you treat your customers that have been with you since before the Nextel merge. 

Ok I will cans=cel my contract.... Well gee Mrs ****** maybe you can speak to the Fraud dept and see if they can help you if you indeed did not authorize the change in the plan if someone else did.

		<description>Sprint sells broken EVO 4G on Craiglist and EBay and every place else that these people can think off. I lost 400.00 that is broken off the bat. that happed about 3 to 4 weeks ago. is EVO 4G worht it as it clames on TV? hell no Sprint clames unlimited. that is false. there is all ways a limit and over extream over draft feels for breaking the contract limit. if any of you disagree stay with them. if your serious of protecting your banjk account and your credit catd ,debit card and what not. one thing never buy a used item any place. never go to a dealer that clames must be activacted NEVER its going to be locked up and no refunds forget about tech guys. you will not have access to them No account that is too bad sucker fucking sucker. like my self for one that Sprint done a great job puting tax payers to fucking suckers. T-Mobile, Verizion. sprint,all the big brand celluar phone compnays are the same. rip off the consumers.
4 Sprint /HTC will put a life span on the EVO 4G so that it will break down so like tax payers like my self and your self that is trying to work for a living. . my big question is why put a limit on Cellular phones EVO 4G and every HTC phones? HAZARD WARNING ANSWER IS........
when the phone breaks you have no choice to close the contract and be fucked with $600.00 to $1200.00 to break the contract
HTC makes the worst phomes on the market. its made in black market China for cheap laber. lets talk money. Icannot afford 80.00 for a compnay that fucks around with me and with consumers. I do not beleave that got the right to charge 80.00 Ican buy a cheap phone from NET 10 and get a sweeter deal 25.00 a month for 600 minutes.
if I do not like the style of phones I can find other brand names that will do the same offer. no contracts. no police action for not having a contract and fake arrestment charges. Sprint will do all the arrestment as they demand the right to do so., Attacking freedom of rights . freedom of speach. and the freedom of right to live in the USA

		<description>I GOT MY PHONE FOUR MONTHS AGO A GUY AT THE SPRINT IN LA MESA TOLD ME THAT FOR INSURANCE CLAIMS IT WILL ONLY COST ME 35$ I WAS RELIEVED. BUT THEN THREE MONTHS LATER IN JANUARY MY PHONE SCREEN STARTED FREEZING AND THE TOUCH SCREEN STOPPED WORKING ALL TOGETHER MY PHONE WORKED BUT THE TOUCH SCREEN DIDN&#039;T. I WENT INTO SPRINT IN LA MESA, CA THEY TOLD ME I GOT A DEFECTIVE PHONE AND THEY WILL ORDER ME A NEW PHONE AND CALL ME WHEN IT ARRIVES. A MONTH PASSES I STILL DIDN&#039;T GET MY PHONE. SO I WENT TO THE SPRINT IN COLLEGE GROVE, CA WHEN I GOT THEIR I WAS FORCED TO WAIT IN LINE AND PUT ON A LIST WHEN MY NAME WAS UP THEY TOLD EM I HAD TO WAIT AND LET SOME OTHER GUY GO BEFORE ME. WHEN I FINALLY GO MY PHONE TURNED IN THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK IN TWO HOURS WHEN I CAME BACK THEY TOLD ME I HAD WATER DAMAGE ON MY PHONE AND ON MY MOTHER BOARD SO I ASKED THEM TO SHOW ME THEY SHOWED ME THREE SPECS OF DUST INSIDE MY KEYBOARD I ASKED THEM TO EXPLAIN HOW THIS WAS AFFECTING MY TOUCH SCREEN THEY MADE SOMETHING UP THREE OF THE EMPLOYEES GANGED UP ONE ME AND STARTED CLAIMING THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE I TAKE MY PHONE IN THE SHOWER .. I TOLD THEM UH I DON&#039;T SHOWER WITH MY PHONE I&#039;M NOT STUPID. SO THEN THEY SAID ITS BECAUSE I COOK WITH MY PHONE ON THE STOVE I TOLD THEM OH YEAH I REALLY WANNA BLOW UP . WITH NO PROGRESS I GRABBED MY STUFF AND LEFT TO THE SPRINT STORE IN LA MESA, CA AGAIN THEY TOLD ME MY PHONE THEY FIRST ORDERED NEVER CAME IN AND THEY WILL REORDER IT AND IT WILL BE THERE ON TUESDAY. I CALLED THE SPRINT CORPORATE TO REPORT THE COLLEGE GROVE,CA STORE AND THE MANAGER APOLOGIZED AND TOLD ME HE WILL TICKET THEM AND LOOK INTO IT, AND ASKED IF THE OTHER SPRINT I WENT TO ORDERED MY PHONE I TOLD THEM THEY DID. FEELING CONFIDENT I WAS GOING TO GET MY PHONE TUESDAY AFTER GOING A MONTH WITH A MESSED UP TOUCH SCREEN BARLEY ALLOWING ME TO USE MY PHONE AND STILL PAYING SERVICE. I CALLED TODAY AND THEY SAID MY PHONE CAME BUT NOW THEY CANT FIND IT THEY CALLED ME BACK AND TOLD ME MY PHONE HAD BEEN FLAGGED FOR WATER DAMAGE AND THEY CANT GIVE ME MY REPLACEMENT I WAS ON PHONE WITH THAT SPRINT FOR 2 HOURS. I CALLED CORPORATE AFTER GETTING THE RUN AROUND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO OR THEY COULD DO BUT I HAD TO PAY INSURANCE FOR A NEW PHONE . I SERIOUSLY BAWLED MY EYES  OUT IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING SO I CALLED THE INSURANCE PEOPLE THINKING MY CLAIM WAS ONLY GOING TO BE 35$ WHEN I CALL THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY 100$. WHEN I FINALLY GO MY PHONE TURNED IN THEY TOLD ME TO COME BACK IN TWO HOURS WHEN I CAME BACK THEY TOLD ME I HAD WATER DAMAGE ON MY PHONE AND ON MY MOTHER BOARD SO I ASKED THEM TO SHOW ME THEY SHOWED ME THREE SPECS OF DUST INSIDE MY KEYBOARD I ASKED THEM TO EXPLAIN HOW THIS WAS AFFECTING MY TOUCH SCREEN THEY MADE SOMETHING UP THREE OF THE EMPLOYEES GANGED UP ONE ME AND STARTED CLAIMING THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE I TAKE MY PHONE IN THE SHOWER .. I TOLD THEM UH I DON&#8217;T SHOWER WITH MY PHONE I&#8217;M NOT STUPID. SO THEN THEY SAID ITS BECAUSE I COOK WITH MY PHONE ON THE STOVE I TOLD THEM OH YEAH I REALLY WANNA BLOW UP . THEN THEY CLAIMED ITS BECAUSE I WALK WITH MY PHONE IN THE RAIN I TOLD THEM IT RARELY RAINS IN SAN DIEGO. WITH NO PROGRESS I GRABBED MY STUFF AND LEFT TO THE SPRINT STORE IN LA MESA, CA AGAIN THEY TOLD ME MY PHONE THEY FIRST ORDERED NEVER CAME IN AND THEY WILL REORDER IT AND IT WILL BE THERE ON TUESDAY. I CALLED THE SPRINT CORPORATE TO REPORT THE COLLEGE GROVE,CA STORE AND THE MANAGER APOLOGIZED AND TOLD ME HE WILL TICKET THEM AND LOOK INTO IT, AND ASKED IF THE OTHER SPRINT I WENT TO ORDERED MY PHONE I TOLD THEM THEY DID. FEELING CONFIDENT I WAS GOING TO GET MY PHONE TUESDAY AFTER GOING A MONTH WITH A MESSED UP TOUCH SCREEN BARLEY ALLOWING ME TO USE MY PHONE AND STILL PAYING SERVICE. I CALLED TODAY AND THEY SAID MY PHONE CAME BUT NOW THEY CANT FIND IT THEY CALLED ME BACK AND TOLD ME MY PHONE HAD BEEN FLAGGED FOR WATER DAMAGE AND THEY CANT GIVE ME MY REPLACEMENT I WAS ON PHONE WITH THAT SPRINT FOR 2 HOURS. I CALLED CORPORATE AFTER GETTING THE RUN AROUND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO OR THEY COULD DO BUT I HAD TO PAY INSURANCE FOR A NEW PHONE . I SERIOUSLY BAWLED MY EYES  OUT IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING SO I CALLED THE INSURANCE PEOPLE THINKING MY CLAIM WAS ONLY GOING TO BE 35$ WHEN I CALL THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO PAY 100$. SO RIDICULOUS I&#8217;M REPORTING THEM TO THE BBB AND I HOPE NO ONE ELSE CHOOSES THEIR SERVICE THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS BAD AND HAVE NOT IDEA WHAT WATER DAMAGE LOOKS LIKE I&#8217;M SO UPSET WITH THEM I WAS ACTUALLY CONSIDERING JUST SHUTTING MY SERVICE OFF. NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH SO MUCH BULL FROM A PHONE COMPANY. EVERYONE KEPT SAYING SORRY BUT DID NOT DO A THING TO HELP ME HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNEXPERIENCED TECH SUPPORT I GIVE THEM AN F ALL THE WAY AROUND.</p>

		<description>So i guess sprint thinks its reasonable to have me pay $7 a month for insurance on my instinct i bought for $100 and then when I file the claim on the insurance because it broke, the deductible is $100. is that even legal? the insurance ive paid on the phone for 2 years adds up to $168 and the deductible is $100 for a $100 phone?! i can buy the new instinct online for $29! this is ridiculous!</description>
